2D1N Bromo Sunrise and Tumpak Sewu From Surabaya – Java, Indonesia

EXPERIENCE

Day 1 – Surabaya/Malang – Sunrise Mt Penanjakan – Sea of Sand – Bromo Crater – Tumpak Sewu Area

Get ready to be picked up at 23.30 p.m by our driver and professional guide who will take you to Sukapura (Bromo area in Probolinggo). After departing from Surabaya or Malang, you will reach the destination in 3 hours. Then, we will continue the trip by Jeep (4 WD) to enjoy the bumpy road towards Mt. Penanjakan, which is the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of Bromo sunrise. Driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, resulting from the eruption of Mt. Bromo, in a 30 minute-easy track all the way to the peak. From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mt. Batok and the highest mountain on Java Island, Mt. Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit Kingdom’s history. Next, you can enjoy breakfast at Lava view restaurant. After breakfast we will drive to Tumpak Sewu Area and have a rest.

Day 2: Tumpak Sewu – Goa Tetes – Surabaya/Malang

Wake up in the morning and have breakfast. We will drive to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall which is near our Homestay. Meet the local guide and go together to one of the most visited Waterfalls in Indonesia. Around 2-3 hours after enjoying the Waterfall, we will go back to the Homestay to prepare ourselves before Check out. Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is one of the most visited destinations in Java.
