2 Days Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu Tour – Cusco Region, Peru

EXPERIENCE

Day 1: We begin our journey early from Cusco, heading to the Sacred Valley, approximately 30 km (18.6 miles) away. Our first stop is Pisac, where we’ll explore the renowned archaeological sites and browse the artisan market. In the afternoon, we’ll visit Ollantaytambo, exploring its impressive archaeological complex and delving into its history. We’ll end the day by taking the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes, where we’ll rest and prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: We’ll wake up early to catch the first bus to Machu Picchu for a guided exploration of the Inca city at dawn. We’ll uncover its main structures and learn about its history. If you’ve reserved, we’ll ascend Huayna Picchu, offering panoramic views of Machu Picchu and the Urubamba River. Afterward, we’ll return to Aguas Calientes for lunch before boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, transportation will take us back to Cusco, concluding our adventure in the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu.
