2 days 1 night Mhamid Sahara desert – Drâa-Tafilalet, Morocco

EXPERIENCE

2 days 1 nights to the Mhamid Sahara Desert from Marrakech.

DAY 1: MARRAKECH – DRAA VALLEY – MHAMID
The driver will pick you up at 7:00 am from your hotel in Marrakech. You’ll cross the High Atlas mountains, its Berber villages and the spectacular Tizin’Tichka pass, Explore Hollywood of North Africa, with its Atlas film studios. Lunch will be taken near Agdz, close to the Tamnougalt Kasbah. After lunch, the journey continues eastwards through the Draa Valley towards Zagora. We stop to visit the underground Kasbah, the ancient Koranic library of its open, and a historic pottery at Tamegrout. Our journey well continue to the dunes. Here you’ll switch from car to camel and enjoy an unforgettable sunset ride to our camp at Erg Lihoudi. Overnight half-board at the peaceful Desert Camp.

DAY 2: MHAMID – AGDZ – AIT BEN HADDOU
– ANTI ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH
Early morning wake-up for the sunrise over the dunes and breakfast. Then drive through the Draa valley towards Agdz, discovering the hidden treasures of the southern region. The journey continues to Ouarzazate, where we visit the Taourirt Kasbah and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, we return to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive around 6:00 Pm.
