A Most Necessary Diversion for These Troubled Times

Hear ye, hear ye!

The kingdom doth wobble perilously upon its hinges. The nobles squabble. The merchants lament. The town criers scream ever stranger tidings from their enchanted rectangles.

Pestilence, politics, prophecy, and general unpleasantness abound.

Thus hath the Royal Council of Poor Decisions decreed that the only sensible course of action is revelry.

For one enchanted evening upon the harbor’s edge, where the dark forest meets the restless sea, all rogues, scoundrels, bards, hedge witches, knights, sailors, merchants, vagabonds, and otherwise bewildered souls are summoned to gather for Fool’s Folly: a grand campout of music, merriment, fellowship, commerce, and temporary emotional avoidance.

Come witness the sunset sink into the bay. Wander the lantern-lit paths. Barter at the Trading Post. Acquire trinkets of questionable necessity. Feast with strangers. Tell lies by the fire.

And should the realm collapse entirely whilst we make merry, at least our final memories shall be excellent.

From the distant musical kingdom of Nashville cometh Cassandra Lewis and her full company of musicians bearing songs from the forthcoming chronicle In Love + War.

A tale woven from the lives of soldiers, dreamers, lovers, and wanderers across generations, these songs speak of hardship, hope, heartbreak, and the peculiar habit of humankind to continue carrying on despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Expect soaring vocals, cosmic Americana, soulful lamentations, country grunge gold, and perhaps a surprise or two smuggled westward beneath a wagon tarp.

Whiskerman

Returning from the misty hills of the Bay, Whiskerman arrives bearing psychedelic hymns, thunderous grooves, and enough musical sorcery to awaken even the most stubborn village idiot.

Part traveling medicine show, part woodland prophecy, part rock-and-roll crusade, Whiskerman has long cultivated a devoted following through sprawling performances that feel less like concerts and more like glorious collective hallucinations.

Should minstrels ever discover electricity, it would likely sound something like this.

When the sun descendeth and reason departeth, the village square shall belong to Grammy Foxx.

What begins as a humble variety show shall almost certainly devolve into a talent competition, public spectacle, civic emergency, or all three simultaneously.

Here, the audience becometh the performers.

Through song, absurdity, bravery, foolery, and mild peer pressure, Grammy Foxx and companions shall assemble a talent show of such legendary proportions that no invading force, dark wizard, tax collector, or external authority shall be capable of ending our merriment.

Please carpool! Every vehichle needs a $10 Parking Pass. When you click “Get Tickets” scroll all the way down to find the “Parking Pass Add-On” and click it to add the pass to your ticket order.

You will need to show your Parking Pass at the Ticket Table when you show your tickets to enter the BIG ART Concert Meadow.

All parking will be in the Special Events Parking Area. Our Main Parking lot is for Sailing Goat Restaurant, RV/Camper Vans, and guests that require accessible parking only during events.
