Join us every 3rd Friday of the month for a monthly reggae show hosted by DJ Chalice and featuring the best reggae DJ’s in NorCal and beyond…

For our kick-off event, three top Bay Area selectors come together for a high-energy night of reggae, dancehall, basshall, and reggaeton at The Flamingo Hotel on Friday, July 17th.

Join Rocker-T, DJ Chalice, Jah Yzer, and Judah Lion for a dance party of the highest caliber, packed with classic reggae, dancehall heaters, roots rhythms, tropical party sounds, and big bass selections built to move the room.

Rocker-T has more than 200 songs and 14 albums since 1986 to the present. Rocker-T founded the Jah Warrior Shelter HiFi SoundSystem and co-founded the band Skadanks. He is renown for his modern while ancient musical techniques and his deep temple yet street level transcendentally uplifting performances. He is the High Commander of the DubSmashers Analog Shuttle and is constantly producing Muzik.

Jah Yzer is a seasoned Bay Area legend with deep roots in the scene. Judah Lion, originally from Trinidad by way of New York City, brings over 30 years of experience and a unique island-to-NYC flavor to the dance. DJ Chalice, originally from the New York/New Jersey area, built his sound through scenes in Asheville, NC before bringing his DJ stylings to the North Bay 16 years ago.

Together, these three selectors bring decades of sound system culture, conscious music, party-rocking energy, and deep dancefloor knowledge to one proper reggae night at The Flamingo.

Vintage Space is a retro-futuristic music lounge hosting a cosmic array of live music, dancing, DJ’s, and special events. Credits may be issued only with management approval if the request is made more than 48 hours before showtime and the event is not sold out. Within 24 hours of showtime, no credits or refunds will be issued. If a show is canceled or postponed, guests may choose a full refund or credit.
