Gabby’s Supper Club: A New Monthly Tradition from the Team Behind Gabbiano’s Hyper-seasonal, Italian-American, family-style — 24 seats, first Thursday of every month
PORTLAND, OR — This July 2nd, the team behind Gabbiano’s opens the door next door. Gabby’s Supper Club is a monthly prix fixe dinner for 24 people, held at Gabby’s Next Door at 5425 NE 30th Ave. — a warm, unhurried room where the food is the occasion and the people are the point.
Each month, Chefs Keith Bidwell and Liz Serrone will build a five-course Italian-American menu around what’s growing in Oregon right now — partnering with local farmers and purveyors to highlight the ingredients that make this region remarkable. The result is a dinner that changes with the seasons and goes deeper than a typical restaurant meal, designed for an audience that trusts the kitchen and welcomes a new take on the classics.
“Gabbiano’s has always been about people feeling at home,” says owner David Sigal. “Gabby’s is just a smaller room where we can do that even more.”
Service is casual and family-style — generous portions meant to be shared, passed, and talked about. The evening begins with a welcome bite on arrival, followed by time to chat and get acquainted before sitting down together for the full meal.
The five-course menu is $95 per person, inclusive of food and gratuity:
- Welcome Bite
- Salad
- Pasta
- Main
- Dessert
Wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. Guests open a tab at check-in and drinks are brought to the table throughout the evening. Dietary restrictions can be noted at the time of booking; substitutions are politely declined.
The July 2nd Supper Club will showcase the bounty of Oregon’s summer produce. Gabby’s holds 24 seats and meets on the first Thursday of every month.
