? Debut Wiffleball Tourney @ the Newly Restored Ball Field! at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Grants Pass, OR
It is FINALLY time to PLAY BALL! This reoccurring activity is for members and non-members of all ages. Anyone can play. If you’re old/young enough to swing a plastic bat, you’re qualified to play Wiffle Ball. We also will be encouraging the missionaries to invite anyone they are teaching to attend.
We appreciate any and all suppor. Brother Shomler, Priest Quorum Advisor, has been leading the charge to restore the ball field for several months. Now that field is in playable condition, it’s open for regular use!
Brother Shomler designed a hybrid field that includes a 70° angle Wiffleball diamond that fits inside the 90° angle Softball diamond. There are separate running paths between two separate sets of bases. This field can alsl be used to play Little League Baseball and Kickball. 4 sports; 1 infield!
Come one, come all! Please invite your friends, family, co-workers, and anyone else to play, watch, or both!
Please share your support and interest for using the field directly with the Stake Presidency, who are overseeing the project.
Huge shout outs to Brandon Echols, Jacob Echols, Steve Nelson, Jeff Jarvis, and Jeff Elseth for helping make this restoration project happen.
