JUNO winner Jocelyn Gould has been called a leader in the next generation of great mainstream jazz guitarists by Howard Paul, CEO of Benedetto Guitars. Her debut release as a leader, Elegant Traveler, won a 2021 JUNO for Jazz Album of the Year. Her latest release, Sonic Bouquet, was nominated for a JUNO award for Jazz Album of the Year. Jocelyn has spent the last several years touring extensively. In early 2024 she completed a 10 week, 45 city tour produced by Jazz At Lincoln Center and IMG artists as part of a show called Sing and Swing. She performed as a leader at acclaimed venues including Dizzys Club Coca Cola, Birdland and Pizza Express. She spent the fall of 2023 touring her latest release, Sonic Bouquet. This tour saw her European debut in the UK and Spain, as well as an extensive tour of the US and Canada. Jocelyn Gould has performed internationally in the groups of Grammy nominated vocalist Freddy Cole, trumpeter Etienne Charles and DownBeat Critics Poll winner trombonist Michael Dease. She can be heard on albums led by Michael Dease, Caity Gyorgy, Jon Gordon, Diego Rivera, Randy Napoleon, and Will Bonness.
