During this engaging workshop, Southside Denny will share foundational insights that helped him build a decades-long career as a Chicago-style blues rocker and soloist playing with a who’s who list of musical heroes.

Born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, Southside Denny is a Chicago-style blues rocker and an acoustic-blues guitar soloist with 12 albums to his credit. His reputation grew in the early 1980s, as he regularly appeared onstage with many of his Chicago musical heroes and influences, including Luther Allison, Sugar Blue, and Pinetop Perkins. He has also opened for such stellar blues acts as Ray Charles, Lonnie Mack, Buddy Guy, and Albert Collins and such legendary rock artists as John Fogerty, Edgar Winter, BTO, and Styx.
