Diving deep into some of her favorite female artists catalogs, Barbara Malteze has curated an evenings worth of songs, (most of which you are probably not familiar with unless you are a self-professed music aficionado), to present a fresh take on cover bands. The show will unfold with (3) sets, each set representing a particular genre; (Americana, County-Rock and Soul-Gospel-Blues). For each set, Barbara will be joined by a female duet partner and backed by a stellar group of musicians who have worked hard to give each set its own flavor and feel.When it came to inviting female duet partners, I had a difficult time, especially with so much talent in Rochester, Malteze said.
