Event Description: Get ready for an exhilarating Mario Kart 8 Tournament at The Boozy Mutt in Philadelphia! BrewedAt is bringing out the dog in you today—unleash your competitive side. Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with great drinks, tasty snacks, discounted beer from a local brewery (TBA) and a energetic environment at The Boozy Mutt. Enjoy house music spun by a Philly DJ throughout the day, and catch the excitement of the final matches called live by our Emcee. Whether you’re competing or just spectating, this event promises a blast for all attendees.
Please note: No dogs will be allowed in the upstairs area during the event.

How It Works: Compete in exciting 4-race 150cc Grand Prix sessions on Mario Kart for Nintendo Switch. This single-elimination tournament will feature 64 competitors, with each Grand Prix showcasing 4 racers. In every race, the top 2 finishers will advance to the next round, narrowing the field as the competition heats up. We’ll have 2 TVs running simultaneously, ensuring non-stop action as we play 31 sessions across the day. The finals will feature 3 high-stakes sessions, called live by our Emcee.

Prix 1: Shell Cup – Round 1
Prix 2: Flower Cup – Round 2
Prix 3: Star Cup – Round 3
Prix 4: Special Cup – Finals

Prize Breakdown:

1st Place Winner: Shell Cup Tournament Trophy, $250 Cash Prize, $100 Boozy Mutt Gift Card.
2nd Place Winner: $100 Cash Prize, $50 Boozy Mutt Gift Card. 
3rd Place Winner: $50 Cash Prize, $25 Boozy Mutt Gift Card.
4th Place Winner: $25 Cash Prize.

Event Schedule:

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Check-In – Arrive early to check-in, get your wristband, and grab a bite to eat.
1:00 PM – 1:20 PM: Tournament, Rules Breakdown & Prizes – Welcome, rules breakdown, and introduction to the tournament format. Get ready to race and learn about the prizes up for grabs!
1:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Tournament Play – Compete in exciting 4-race Grand Prix sessions. Two TVs will be running simultaneously, playing 31 sessions across the afternoon—14 per TV.
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: DJ Playing – Enjoy house music spun by a Philly DJ to keep the energy high and the mood festive throughout the tournament.
5:00 PM – 5:45 PM: Emcee Announces Semi-Finals & Finals – The top competitors move on to the semi-finals and finals. Watch as the best racers vie for the championship title.
5:45 PM – 6:00 PM: Trophy & Award Presentations – Join us as we celebrate the winners with trophies, medals, and bragging rights.
