Campana’s groundbreaking rap infuses diverse musical influences with profound life experiences and sharp social awareness.

A product of Bremerton, WA — raised in Seattle, Campana first gained notoriety being the lead vocalist alongside his band Cosmos. COSMOS saw major success after initially garnering popularity from winning Seattle’s MoPop “Sound Off!” Battle of the Bands competition in 2016 and since then have received attention all across the globe.

They’ve played at nationally renowned festivals, such as Capitol Hill Block Party, Bumbershoot and Sasquatch! Music Festival to name a few. In 2017, after the release of their debut album MOONSHINE, they were one of nine bands in the nation selected to be a part of MUSICOLOGY—a battle of the bands event hosted at Prince’s Paisley Park Estate in Chanhassen, MN.

Following that success, Campana released several EP’s throughout the years. While the world was dormant during quarantine due to COVID-19, Campana recorded his debut album Matter of Time and wrote & executive produced the swimteam-directed short film based on the album.

The album was listed as Seattle Time’s “Top 16 Albums of 2021.” The short film had two private screenings within Seattle that sold out, was nominated for awards in several film festivals, and won the “Audience Award” at Black Film Fest ATL.
