Think romance novels arent for you? Think again! Whether you’re a die-hard fan, someone yet to be won over, or just looking for a fun night out with friends, Romance for Non-Romance Readers is the perfect Galentines event to explore the world of romance books.

Join us on Friday, February 7th, at Lovestruck Books in Harvard Square for an in-person discussion celebrating all things romance. Hosted by Aja Frost and Aliza Sir, co-founders of the popular culture and friendship newsletter Platonic Love, the evening will explore three carefully selected romance titles and welcome readers of all experience levels.

Youll discover that romance novels are about more than just lovetheyre full of personal growth, adventure, friendship, and unforgettable characters. Whether youre new to the genre or a casual reader, this event is your chance to connect with fellow book lovers, explore different sub-genres, and find your next great read!

Your ticket includes one of the following books to take home after the event:

Romantic Comedy by Curtis Sittenfeld
Seven Days in June by Tia Williams
One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston

Choose your favorite book of the three titles (included with your ticket purchase) and grab the other 2 titles at check-out if you wish!

5:30 PM: Doors Open, Welcome In!
Find a seat, grab a drink and get ready to dive into the discussion.
6:00 PM: Aliza Sir and Aja Frost Get Romantic
Aliza and Aja will guide a conversation exploring the featured titles with several opportunities for audience questions throughout.
7:00 PM: Grab Your Book!
Get excited! Its time to grab a title to take home.
Through 7:30 PM: Snail Mail & Shopping Spree
Stop by Platonic Loves table and fill out a postcard to a pal or special someone. Browse the shelves of bookish curiosities or grab a drink at the bar!
