Her musical journey began at age 12 when she taught herself to play guitar, eventually becoming one of Arizona’s leading Latin pop singer-songwriters. Coming from a Latin and Middle Eastern background, Monique has always aimed to infuse her cultural heritage into her music. Gaining international recognition, particularly in Latin America, she beautifully blends Latin, Middle Eastern and American influences, creating songs in both English and Spanish.
