In this workshop, professionals will learn about common termite species in Florida.

Termites can be tricky. We have several common species here in Florida, and making sure you have the right identification is critical for determining and implementing the right treatment.

This in-person workshop will provide professionals with an opportunity to learn about common Florida termites, how to identify alates and soldiers, and advice for management.

Instructor: Jackie Lebouitz, Chemicals in the Environment Agent, UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County

Approved for the following CEUs: 1 from the following categories: Limited Structural, Fumigation, WDO, GHP, 1 MAXIMUM

Time: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

Cost: $10.00 per person (excluding additional Eventbrite fees), free for verified Sarasota County employees and non-CEU-seeking attendees

Advance registration is required. You may buy your tickets online or pay at the door before the event. Please make out any checks to the University of Florida.
