As a fertility scientist, Sarah knows better: Its the egg that chooses the sperm. This fact forces her to examine whether her choices have led her to the life that she actually wants. If she behaved more like the egg, confident and patient, rather than like the sperm, endlessly searching for approval, could she find a happier life?This is Sarahs coming-of-age journey through bat mitzvah humiliation, data-driven dating, the sperm bank porn library, and a surprise meeting with her labs HR department that would force her to reckon with whether shes ready to truly become the EGG.Sarah Adelman is a New York City-born comedian and former reproductive health research scientist. She performs at venues across New York and has appeared on The Today Show and HBOs Game Theory. Earlier this year, Sarah was a resident at Ars Novas Comedy Artist Makers Program, where she developed and premiered EGG. EGG was an official selection of the New York Comedy Festival.
