Usually seen fronting his powerhouse band, Ryan Montbleaus intimate, honest lyrics and spirited, dynamic delivery create a whole different impact when stripped-down for a solo show. Its still me just pouring my heart out, he says, as hes been doing since the early 2000s. NPRs Mountain Stage compared his eloquent, soulful songwriting to Bill Withers and James Taylor, while Relix hailed his poetic Americana. With a passionate fanbase, Montbleaus live shows are nothing if not communal events.

Opening for Ryan Montbleau is Brooks Forsyth. He began busking on street corners in his hometown of Boone, NC and has since become a Nashville recording artist. Encompassing a variety of sounds within Americana, he has a large repertoire of original songs, and a versatile guitar style consisting of both flatpicking and fingerpicking techniques. He has played alongside artists such as Doc Watson and Sierra Ferrell, opened for Ryan Montbleau and Willi Carlisle, and worked with producer Buzz Cason. Additionally, Brooks was the lead songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist for the band The Major Sevens.
