His music draws from influences across genres and is sure to make you dance, smile, and get choked up all in one night. James sings, plays the keys, and drums, but he can’t do it all alone. He’s known for calling upon some of DC’s best musicians to help put on a hell of a show.

Freddy Mac is an original indie jazz-rock project in Washington DC. Performing songs about ghosts, whales, cowboys, and everything else in between. What started as a bedroom pop project in a University of Florida dorm back in 2018 has evolved into a live spectacle filled with heartbreak, euphoria, and virtuosity. Come for the anthems and stay for the saxophone, it’s going to be a good night.

The Backing Tracks are a Funk Soul group based in DC. Known for their earworm melodies and tight-knit instrumentation, the Backing Tracks bring an explosive live show filled with danceable grooves and instrumental fireworks. Playing a combination of groovy originals and unique takes on familiar favorites, the band – Prithvi Iyer (Drums, Vocals), Ryan Salsburg (Guitar), Mayson Rangel (Bass), and Alex Jerome (Keyboard) – bring together their extensive musical backgrounds to form a unique and intriguing sound built upon infectious rhythms, rich harmonies, and dynamic interplay.
