The Shrine invites you to its annual Christian celebration of the 2025 Lunar New Year. This year’s theme “Pilgrims of Hope” coincides with the 2025 Jubilee in the Catholic Church. With deep gratitude to Our Lady of Hope, the Shrine’s celebration highlights John Paul II’s Ecclesia in Asia and his visit to the Philippines for World Youth Day, and looks forward to the 2027 World Youth Day in South Korea: “Take Courage! I Have Overcome the World.”

Event Program

11:00am – Confession available in different Asian languages

11:30am – Holy Rosary in various languages

12:00pm – Holy Mass in honor of the Lunar New Year

12:30pm – Lunch, music, game, presentations on the inculturation of the Gospel in Asia

followed by a discussion
