A Boulder native, this alt folk rocker blends pop sensibility with a keen eye for the absurdities of the modern world. Sometimes, a heady cocktail of the supernatural, county election officials, a retired quantum physicist, and unsuspecting tourists at a Mexican beach resort is on tap. Sometimes, a simple love song will do. Fans of Colin Hay, John Prine, Jonathon Richman, or Big Head Todd and the Monsters should find something to enjoy.
