Get ready to sweat it out with your team at Frosty Fest 2025 – the ultimate fitness competition in Hamden CT!

Welcome to Frosty Fest 2025 – the Annual winter fitness competition hosted at our Hamden CT Elm City Fitness space!

Join us at Elm City Fitness for a day of fun, fitness, and friendly competition. Gather your squad and get ready to sweat it out in a series of challenging workouts designed to test your strength, endurance, and teamwork. Teams of two will battle it out in three divisions. Teams this year will be 1 male, 1 female competitor and we have an open, scaled and masters division (combined age 80+).

Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey, Frosty Fest is the perfect opportunity to push yourself, bond with your teammates, and have a blast while doing it.

? Workout 1A: Incinerator

10 minute AMRAP of 1 calorie row + 1 Burpee over rower – Add 1 rep to each movement until time is called

One athlete in motion at a time, Work can be split in any way Score = total number of completed reps

Workout 1B: Grace Squared

At the 11 minute mark – both athletes will perform Grace 30 Clean & Jerks 135/95# synchro!

Score = total time CAP at 16 minutes

? WOD 2: Heavy Hitters

7 Minutes for both athletes to log their Max weight, 1 Rep Bench Press

@ Minute 7: athletes will complete as many deadlifts as possible in 3 minutes

Weight = bench weight for each individual Score = total weight + total reps

? WOD 3: Team Haul

2 Rounds for Time of

400 Meter run (Partner Run)
50 KBS 55/35#
50 Box jumps 24/20”
50 Partner WB situps over box 20# @ 24”
