Join 2Indie founders Sonnet & John and Music Supervisor/ KCRW DJ – Jason Kramer for an evening of connection in the sync community.

One night only! 2Indie presents Sip & Supe with Music Supervisor / KCRW DJ Jason Kramer hosted by Pandion Music Foundation and 2Indie at the Earthstar Creation Center in Venice, California. This fun evening of connection in the sync community is sure to entertain and inspire music makers of all genres. Casual Q&A followed by mixer! Connect in-person with the founders of 2Indie, Sonnet Simmons and John Clinebell as they lead an engaging discussion with Jason Kramer. Drinks and snacks will be provided, just bring yourself and have a good time.

About Jason Kramer

In addition to his work at KCRW, he is also an instructor of music marketing and distribution, with a focus on segmentation and broadcasting where he recently taught three classes at MI as an instructor in both music and radio marketing specializing in non-dualism and identity. Previously he taught at USC’s Thornton School of Music as adjunct professor where he instructed a class on music and media plus three years at UCLA Extension teaching a music supervision class. He has also given lectures and teaches at other colleges including UCLA, NYU, Berkeley, Radio Beijing and Emerson. With his experience in conceptualizing, developing, and implementing music and curation streaming products, he can play a key role in launching innovative initiatives that resonate with existing and new audiences alike in both digital and terrestrial.

His experience extends beyond broadcasting and education. He has worked in management and label roles with renowned acts such as Sublime, contributing to their worldwide fame. Currently, as the VP at One Drop Management, he is instrumental in creating opportunities and strategies for emerging talent through creative awareness and leadership skills which have been honed through diverse experiences, including his tenure as an original architect of the music department at Fox Sports. He was also the head of music supervision at Elias Arts studio, where he collaborated with advertising agencies and global brands. His work has been featured in Wired Magazine.

He is an established photographer shooting musicians and also other subjects. His work has been featured in galleries, PR , books and in various publications, including People Magazine. In 2023 he photographed eight album covers. He was also recently featured in BBC radio’s own Annie Nightingale’s autobiography about his experience during the LA Riots while a medic on an ambulance. Jason started working in music in 94 with Skunk Records, the label known for the band Sublime.

As an innovator, he curated an interview/recording session with artists that have visited the Elias Arts Santa Monica studio where is videos have been seen by millions. He was recently featured as the opening voice in the Billie Eilish documentary, Elton John documentary and playing himself in a film called Roving Woman and another forthcoming documentaries. He donates much of his time with organizations including Music Unites, Core, Grammy Foundation and also the California Fire Foundation. Prior to working in music, Jason was working with the LAFD and also on a private rescue ambulance where he held the rank of station Captain and Field Training Officer.
