E kipa mai, join us for a fun-filled afternoon at our 2025 Mu?umu?u P??ina Celebration fundraiser presented by the Kaua?i Historical Society!

This special luncheon occasion will take place at the Smith?s Tropical Paradise Gardens in Wailua Kaua?i. Our event backdrop is set in a lush garden along the historic Wailua River.

Indulge in delicious mea?ai (food and refreshments) prepared by the Smith?s Garden Ohana. Enjoy live Hawaiian music and have a blast with your friends and family. This in-person event promises an unforgettable experience celebrating Hawaiian culture, traditions, and Hawai?i?s beautiful fashion history.

Our main event in the afternoon will be a first “Lei Pupu” paired with “Mu?umu?u and or Aloha shirts”. Rock your favorite lauhala P?pale (hat) with a Mu?umu?u, Aloha shirt, or island wear, and join us for a day of good vibes and Aloha Spirit! Expect to view some of the most beautifully handcrafted “Lei Pupu” from Ni?ihau and Kaua?i. The Ohana Ni?ihau will also be with us to share their handcrafted Pupu jewelry. Your ticket includes your admission into the garden to explore and take photo?s. Selfie stations will also be set up around the event site. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of our rich island heritage, a hui hou!
