Celebrate Fr. Ivan Moody and his music & hear the world premiere of composer Kurt Sander’s new choral work—“With Eyes Unveiled.”

Welcome to the Fr. Ivan Moody Memoriak Concert. Join us at the St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church for a special matinee concert honoring the music of an outstanding composer-Fr. Ivan Moody, whose untimely passing sent a wave of sadness throughout the classical music world. The program will consist of sacred choral works by Fr. Ivan and a world-premiere of Kurt Sander’s With Eyes Unveiled for choir and cello, a newly commissioned work. The Society of Saint Romanos the Melodist is proud to sponsor this event and to feature one of Chicago’s premiere chamber choirs-The St. Romanos Cappella under the direction of Peter Jermihov. A pre-concert lecture will be given at 3:30 PM by composer, Dr. Kurt Sander. We look forward to seeing you there!
