Happy Year of the Snake! Back for the fourth year in a row, local chefs Yenvy Pham from Ph? B?c and Trinh Nguyen from Ba Sa Restaurant, along with artist Quynh Nguyen from Pink and Posey will be teaching a workshop on how to make bánh tét – a traditional Vietnamese Lunar New Year dish. Join us on Sunday, January 19 in learning how to make this delicious dish to bring home and enjoy later!

What is bánh tét? Bánh tét, native to central and south Vietnam, is a must-have traditional food during T?t. Bánh tét is a savory glutinous rice cake filled with mung bean and pork, and wrapped in a banana leaf.

How to secure your spot:

  • Pick your preferred time slot;
  • Purchase your ticket; one ticket per participant. Ticket price is $35. Proceeds go to Friends of Little Sài Gòn.
  • Tickets are required for children ages 12 and older. Ticket holders can be accompanied by one (1) child under the age of 12.

Reminders for 1/19:

  • Your session will begin promptly at the time indicated for your time slot. In order for us to manage capacity and supplies, you can only attend the slot you registered for.
