Experience the serene beauty of winter while exploring the diverse birdlife of Forest Home Cemetery & Arboretum

Bundle up and join Wisconsin Metro Audubon Society bird guides for a leisurely 1.5- to 2-mile walk through the historic cemetery and arboretum this January.

As we stroll, we’ll search for hardy winter residents like woodpeckers, chickadees and vibrant cardinals. Along the way, we’ll appreciate the serene atmosphere of snow-draped trees and historic gravestones, creating a picturesque winter scenem(let’s hope there’s snow then!).

This walk is perfect for all skill levels—whether you’re an avid birder or simply enjoy a quiet winter walk in nature. Bring binoculars if you have them, dress warmly and let’s explore the winter wonderland together!
