For the third consecutive year, The Armory Foundation is proud to announce that KPMG LLP, the U.S. audit, tax and advisory firm, will serve as the title sponsor for the 2025 HBCU Showcase, a track and field invitational. The HBCU Showcase is scheduled to take place at the Nike Track & Field Center at The Armory on Saturday, January 18, 2025, and will be live streamed to more than 33 million subscribers on Peacock at 2:30pm ET.

The HBCU Showcase sponsored by KPMG highlights track and field programs from historically Black colleges and universities across the country. A college admissions fair will also be held during the meet, engaging hundreds of New York City high school students as they prepare for their future education. Many of these students attending citywide public, parochial, charter or private schools will participate in track races as part of The Mayors Cup Relays. Since 2023, the number of high school participants has increased from 50 to over 300.

Smith University, Lincoln University, Miles College, Morgan State University, Norfolk State University, Prairie View A&M University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, University of the District of Columbia, Virginia State University, Virginia Union University, West Virginia State University, and Winston Salem State University
