BOOK EXCHANGE & MIXER – Book Club for Book Hoes – Brooklyn, NY

Come get some free books and make some new friends ! The Book Club for Book Hoes is finally back with our favorite event – our Book Exchange !

HOW OUR BOOK EXCHANGES WORK – You can bring as many or as few books as you’d like. When you arrive, we’ll be in the back event space of the bar at 66 Greenpoint.

All the tables will be set up by genre:

ROMANCE

THRILLERS/MURDER MYSTERIES

FICTION

FANTASY/SCI-FI

QUEER LIT

Genres we are NOT exchanging at this time: NON-FICTION (this includes all non-fiction books just an FYI – they’re always left over after the end), COOKBOOKS, HOW-TO BOOKS, SELF-HELP BOOKS, PUZZLES (puzzles aren’t books y’all – we are begging whoever keeps bringing puzzles to politely stop). There will not be a table for non-fiction this book exchange, so you will be asked to keep them. No need to bring them all the way to Greenpoint if you’re just going to have to take them back with you, you know ? Thank you !

Distribute the books you brought to the tables according to their genre and then you’re free to pick up and take home as many books as you’d like !

There is no limit to the number of books you can bring or the limit you can take – so bring a large tote ! Even if you don’t bring any books, you’re still welcome to take home any books you’re excited about.

This event will be from 4-6pm.

Check-in will start at 3:45pm and end at 4:30pm. Please arrive during this time slot. We will also have a RAFFLE that will take place at 5:15pm. There will also be a bookish merch table available with stickers, hats, pins, totes, and much more.

Tickets are $10 per person. We will not be selling tickets at the door and once tickets sell out they are completely sold out.

I hope all your questions are able to be answered in the FAQ and AGENDA section which explains the layout of the event. INFORMATION REMINDER: Please be aware all tickets are final sale – no exchanges or refunds. Tickets are non-exchangeable between book clubs and events and are non-refundable.

Must be 21+ to attend.

This event will be photographed for promotional purposes. We take a group photo at the end of every book club (optional to be in), but photos are also taken during book clubs and events to promote the Book Club for Book Hoes on Instagram and TikTok. Photos are taken by both the organizer and by members who can take their own photos throughout our time together. If you do not wish to be photographed in the group photo, that is totally okay.

Due to high influx of DMs on social media, DMs are not answered on a timely basis and may not be seen. The primary and preferred communication is via email. Responses will come during work hours 9am – 6pm.
