• March 22nd — Postpartum Table Talk— A safe and non-judgmental space for women to share their experiences and connect with others who are going through similar transitions. Postpartum Table Talk covers topics such as postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, infant care, mental health, and building a support network,
• May 24th — Baby and Me — Provides a supportive environment for parents to connect with their babies, learn about their unique needs, and develop the skills and confidence to care for and nurture their little ones. Explores topics such as infant development, attachment, and parenting techniques such as baby wearing, diapering, infant massage and soothing.
• July 26th — Twerking and Movement for Birth — A high-energy and fun workout specifically designed for expectant mothers, combining elements of dance and prenatal exercise to promote physical fitness, flexibility, and overall well-being during pregnancy. Led by certified instructors, the class features modified twerking moves and other exercises that cater to the unique needs of pregnant women, providing a safe and empowering space to stay active, build confidence, and connect with other moms-to-be.

BLOOM, Birthing Love, Outreach, and Optimal Motherhood

The Georgia Black Doula Network, Inc. presents BLOOM, a series of informational sessions tailored to the unique needs of pregnant and postpartum Black families, offered both virtually and in-person. Each BLOOM session focuses on a relevant topic, led by a community expert, and provides a safe and supportive space for participants to share their experiences, connect with others, and gain valuable insights, ultimately empowering them to achieve optimal health outcomes during pregnancy and childbirth.
