Old friends reunite for an acoustic concert in Murphys

Two friends, two guitars, two microphones. Jimbo Scott & Grover Anderson met at Berkeley’s Freight & Salvage in 2012 and quickly became close friends and collaborators. By 2014 they had a weekly residency together in San Franscico, and in 2015 they formed the folk-rock band Freight. After a couple of years of performing and many nights up late sharing songs, stories, and whiskey on couches, Freight took a load off when Jimbo was invited to join Poor Man’s Whiskey. Though both artists are pursuing their own projects, they try to play together at least once a year. This year they’re bringing their show to Murphys Creek Theater, where they will share songs and stories, old and new.
