On this episode of The Future of Comedy Show we are back at BJs in Gaylord with nationally touring headliner, Mike Ball. Along with FOCS regulars Richard Mathis, Abby Veitengruber and Dave Clickner. Ticket includes delicious appetizers. Please remember doors are at 7pm and show begins at 8pm. 

Mike Ball is a nationally acclaimed headliner and the creative force behind the award-winning comedy series, “The Future of Comedy Show,” boasting an impressive portfolio of over 750 shows produced. His comedic prowess has graced renowned venues such as The Chicago Laugh Factory, San Diego Comedy Palace, and various locations across the Midwest, earning the prestigious title of Best Event in Midland by the Midland Daily News.
Amassing a staggering 4 million views on Facebook Reels, Mike’s comedic journey includes performances at illustrious venues like the World Famous Comedy Store and the Nashville Zanies All Stars Show. Having started his career at Crackers Comedy Club in Indianapolis, Indiana, the individual quickly established himself as a top performer. Richard’s hard work and dedication have paid off, with wins at the Detroit to LA competition, the Damented Peach competition, and the Detroit Comedy Rumble. But what really sets Richard apart is his ability to connect with audiences. He is a true master of his craft, constantly exploring new material and approaches to his comedy while staying true to his unique voice and style.

Abby Veitengruber- After hosting her highschool talent shows for three years and making one slightly inappropriate graduation speech, Abby knew standup was an endeavor she wanted to dive into. Abby made a dent in the comedy scene from 2015-2019, quickly making a name for herself by winning the the Mark Ridley’s Detroit to LA comedy competition in 2018. Abby has performed at The Comedy Store, The Ice House, Laugh Factory, Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle and  more. She has worked with Zoltan Kaszas, Whitney Cummings, and Rob Little. Abby took a break from the stand up scene because  life got in the way but is back in full force. Abby enjoys talking about her family because it will make you feel better about yours.
