Socialize, schmooze, collaborate, backstab, connive, murder, accuse, arrest, poison, interrogate, defend, threaten, and testify. Lots to do.

The local seedy tavern has called all the land’s adventurers, from every dungeon and upon every dragon, to celebrate the new year. But every adventurer has more nefarious things on their mind than just celebration – including murder!

Murders & Mysteries is a social deception party game for 15 people to be played out over an evening – in this case, a fantasy New Year’s Eve party! In the “guise” of a party, with food and games and non-alcoholic drink, forge alliances, connive against your enemies, and maybe even ‘murder’ your target for the evening.

Players will be asked to complete objectives assigned to their character, the foremost of which include the successful murder of their target, revenge against their enemies, and assistance toward their friends. The game is open-ended and without a script — players use their resources, alliances, and wits to achieve their goals, many of which directly conflict with the goals of others.

This game is meant to be for folks of any background — from thespians to the socially awkward to the tabletop number-crunchers. But if this sounds of interest to you, sign up soon! Roles must be assigned before the party begins, so you know what you’re in for and can plan ahead.
