Inside at 1030 Main St. | Food & Drinks Available Vallejos own Papa Joe & The New Deal was born out of a small get-together of two seasoned musicians, Papa Joe Lucero (guitars and lead vocals) and Ed Rillera (keyboard and vocals), who in the past had promised each other that they would one day play together. With a consistent sound from a strong rhythm section featuring Elias Lucero on bass guitar and vocals, Dave McClure on drums and this dazzling vocal-driven band leads listeners musically through time with their selections of popular tunes from the past 50 years. Led by their talented female lead vocalists, Lani Parker, Janice Dispo, Selia Lucero and new comer Abby Lucero, Papa Joe & The New Deal will take you on a musical journey from James Brown to Bruno Mars and all things in between, but always with their own twist of funk and soul. BLUE NOTE NAPA is on the 1st floor of the historic Napa Valley Opera House and is an intimate 180-seated live music club and restaurant. World-class and local Bay Area artists perform here.
