The Capital Rat$ have been bringing captivating, high-energy vibes to their fans, affectionately called the Rat Pack, since October 2023. This DC-based, pop/rock cover band has a knack for producing fun, seasonal shows with party atmospheres. Throughout 2024, the CapRat$ sold out multiple shows, and shut down the street at Adams Morgan PorchFest TWICE! When you party with the CapRat$, a good time is always guaranteed.

Dog Shoes!

Dog Shoes is an indie rock band from Washington, D.C. Their sound is heavily influenced by 90’s alternative and indie rock with a sprinkle of post-punk and shoegaze. Front-man/rhythm guitarist Jeff Small and lead guitarist/backup vocalist Ricky Webster produce a clean yet bold tone. Bassist Vince Palmer keeps the groove going with drummer Ryan Byrne. Their debut EP was released in December 2023 and a new single will be out in early 2025.

Boys in Bars

Boys in Bars is a cover project dreamed up by Ashley Counsellor, a senior Law student at UDC, that serves as both a creative outlet and a stress-relieving activity for her. The idea and setlists for this group stem from Ashley’s ever-changing musical obsessions and feature a rotating cast of supporting instrumentalists and vocalists, which, together, bring today’s pop hits to audiences at various DC venues. For their December show, Boys in Bars will be bringing some of Chappell Roans’ biggest hits to The Pocket stage.
