HOME: A Winter Solstice Sound Experience – Stone Ridge, NY

Please join Elana Bell and Ben Brown for an evening of sacred sound to honor the darkness and welcome the coming of the light

For this special solstice sound experience, we are thrilled to be collaborating with cellist and multi-instrumentalist Michele Schifferle-Marzulli.

The evening will include a sound journey as well as light refreshments.

This event will take place at the beautiful yurt temple in the back of the Marbletown Multi-Arts in Stone Ridge, NY.

Doors open at 6:45 pm, the sound experience will begin at 7 pm.

Please bring your own yoga mats and/or blankets to lie on. Limited folding chairs available for those who need it.

ELANA BELL

Elana Bell is a poet, sound practitioner, and creative guide. She holds a certification in Sound and Music Integration from the New York Open Center’s Sound and Music Institute and leads one-on-one and group Sacred Sound Journeys using a variety of instruments and voice to support participants in tapping into a deep state of relaxation and healing, allowing space to release emotions and open the creative channel. www.elanabell.com

BEN BROWN

Ben Brown is a sound practitioner, visual artist, and bodyworker. He seeks the intersection of mediums that provide a haven from social-emotional isolation and support our adaptive capabilities to self-soothe and heal. Much of his work comes from the impulse to create more space in the nervous system and body through vibrational frequencies that connect us to our ancestral wisdom and being. www.handandtemple.com

MICHELE SCHIFFERELE-MARZULLI

Michele Schifferle-Marzulli, a cellist and multi-instrumentalist, works with sound and music as a vessel for well being and support. Music has the ability to heal, feel and connect. She has worked the past 25 years as a performer and as an educator in Early Childhood Education and Music.
