Join show creators Ryan Schaefer (He/Him) and Viv Topping (She/Her) for a queer comedy show featuring an all-star LGBTQ+ line up and trans headliner Friday December 20th at As You Are.

Cece Castronuovo

CeCe Castronuovo (she/her) is a journalist by day who decided to take her chaotic life tales from the group chat to the main stage. Her comedy is informed by her loud Italian-Irish family and her anxiety diagnosis. She’s a graduate of the Grassroots Comedy stand-up incubator program and has performed at shows throughout the DMV.

Heather Mahogani

Heather Mahogani is an old-fashioned comedienne from West Baltimore. She writes,sings, and hosts karaoke. She’s currently in pre-production for her own talk/variety show, The Heather Mahogani Show.

Jake Leizear

Baltimore’s filthy little court jester, Jake Leizear is here, he’s funny, and he could probably use a nap. While you may have seen him producing sold-out shows across Baltimore (like Laugh Tracks at The Club Car) you may also have caught him headlining in the Red Room in Provincetown, Massachusetts, on the Midwest Queer Comedy Festival or the Baltimore Comedy Festival, as a semifinalist on Delmarva’s Funniest, or even in your wildest daydreams.

Domo Cann

Meet Domo Cann, a Black, LGBT comedian and combat veteran who brings a fresh and authentic voice to the stage. As a graduate of the Armed Services Arts Partnership Comedy Bootcamp, she’s been making waves in the comedy world with her sharp wit and relatable humor. She’s opened for Matt Iseman, Maria Sanchez and Larry Lancaster. She’s also headlined the P3 Comedy Festival and performed at the Burbank Comedy Festival, all while staying true to her unique perspective.

A 2022 finalist for Magoobys Jokehouse New Comedian of the Year, she’s set to take the stage at Chocolate Sundaes at the Hollywood Laugh Factory. Her comedy blends personal experiences with a keen sense of humor, creating a style that resonates with audiences everywhere.

Ryan Schaefer

Ryan lives in Washington DC where he performs stand-up and co-produces a monthly queer comedy show called CLOCKED. He’s performed all over including Baltimore, Boston, LA, and NYC. Most recently he took the stage at the Colorado Queer Comedy Festival.

Guest Host Tarunika Anand

Tarunika Anand is your friendly neighborhood they/them who recently broke up with their therapist and decided to make it everyone else’s problem by doing stand-up. They’ve previously opened for headliner Abby Govindan. You can catch this dyke with a mic all over the DMV, including at the DC Improv, the Comedy Loft, and A League of Her Own!

Host Viv Topping

Vivian Topping is a boisterous femme comedian from Washington, DC. She co-produces a monthly queer comedy show called CLOCKED. She has been performing stand up since September 2023 and has produced + hosted multiple stand up shows highlighting queer and trans talent. You can find her all over the DC area telling post-op vagina jokes and complaining about men onstage.

Violet Gray

Violet Gray is a gender-nonconforming veteran comic of over 15 years from Baltimore, Maryland. Someone who often looks as though she married into the Addams Family her aesthetic is often darker than her material, which runs the gamut from her experiences navigating gender to socio-political commentary to Sci-Fi/Fantasy fandom. You can find her performing in comedy clubs as well as anime conventions, and anywhere that sells wings!

Our ability to be accessible is somewhat limited due to our show being on the second floor of As You Are. Handrails are installed on both sides of the staircase. Please note that seating is limited. Depending on when you arrive, we may be at standing room. If you want to be able to sit, we suggest getting there early or messaging us with accessibility needs so we can reserve a seat for you.
