Portland singles, we’re wearing our best Christmas sweater and bringing a gift to exchange on December 19th at Jungle Bar

Portland Singles, join us at Jungle Bar on Thursday, December 19th at 7:00 PM for a festive twist on our free monthly singles mixer.

This month, we’re hosting a White Elephant gift exchange and encouraging everyone to wear their favorite Christmas sweaters. It’s like a dating app but in the wild—with holiday cheer! Grab a drink, swipe through the crowd, and hand off one of our customizable “You’re Cute” cards to that person you’ve been eyeing across the bar.

At 8:30 PM, we’ll kick off the White Elephant gift exchange—a fun and lighthearted activity where participants bring a wrapped gift (around $10 value). Gifts are placed in a central pile, and players take turns choosing one to unwrap or “steal” a gift someone else has already opened. It’s always a hilarious way to connect and share some laughs!

Everyone (21+ for this one) is welcome—no age brackets. Meeting Mutuals believes in fostering connections and building community. Bring a friend or come solo—you never know who you’ll meet and who they’ll introduce you to!

There’s no agenda before the gift exchange, just a casual, safe space to socialize. We’ll provide color-coded stickers to signal what you’re looking for (romantic or just friends) and blank “You’re Cute” cards to help break the ice.
