These monthly soirées are all about connecting, sharing stories, and kicking back after a long day in a space where everyone’s welcome. Every month, Barbara dives into juicy, relevant topics that matter to women today, featuring inspiring guests who’ll spill the tea on life, career, and business.

As part of SecondActWomen’s Aging Out Loud movement, these chats are here to prove that women over 40 are rewriting the rulebook, embracing every twist and turn of our unique journeys, and challenging the outdated narrative about aging. Whether you’re dealing with age bias, worried about the big “4, 5, or 6-0,” or just want to hang with women who get you, this is the place to be. It’s all about celebrating the power and potential of us at every stage while building a supportive community of bold, dynamic women.

Barbara welcomes South African-born and raised Koya Nyangi to Cocktails & Conversations. She’s an award-winning entrepreneur, cultural producer, creative director, cutting-edge stylist, speaker, and CEO and founder of Let Me Show You Different.

With a global perspective shaped by her experiences in Kenya, London, India, and Dubai, Koya brings a unique and fresh approach to fashion and culture. Her work has been featured in international publications such as Sheen Magazine, Culturs Magazine, Cherry Creek Fashion, and 303 Magazine. She has collaborated with prominent institutions like the Governor’s Office of Colorado, the Denver Art Museum, and Neiman Marcus.
