Sounds Made Up carries on the tradition of musical improv by performing a musical assscat, bringing a little bit of New York and Chicago to Norfolk. Each month Sounds Made Up has a new special guest tell hilarious and inspiring stories from their life. Our cast in inspired by those stories and then retells (and maybe exaggerates) what they heard thorough scenes full of comedy and 
SOUNDS MADE UP: Real Stories & Improvised Musical Comedy 

With 100% REAL stories and 100% REAL made-up comedy and songs, Sounds Made Up is ready to get your weekend started sooner with some outrageous MUSICAL improv! A blend of Chicago and New York influences, Sounds Made Up is a musical improv show form called The Musical Armando, and features a special guest storyteller or monologist whose only rule is that they have to tell TRUE stories about their life! As clever as they are dashing, our brilliant cast will use those stories as inspiration to perform a musical improv show that’ll tickle your funny bone AND your ear drums!

 Our special guest this month is Tré “TJ” Porchia! A talented and prolific actor, dancer, singer, and director, TJ recently performed in Sweeney Todd at the Little Theatre of Norfolk and choreographed LTN’s “21 Chump Street” for their Hispanic Heritage celebration weekend. TJ was Nominated for “Best Performer in a Musical” for his role as Tully in the Little Theater of Virginia Beach’s “Escape to Margaritaville.” His upcoming project “Choir Boy,” which he is directing at the LTN, opens January 10th and runs until the 26th!
