SACC Detroit chapter is hosting a year-end traditional Swedish Christmas-holiday celebration dinner at Birmingham Country Club.

SACC Detroit is pleased to announce the annual SACC Detroit Jul Dinner event on December 19 at Birmingham Country Club, 1750 Saxon Dr, Birmingham, MI! This event offers a wonderful atmosphere while enjoying Glögg and a traditional swedish “Julbord” or mouth-watering ham, meatballs, herring and much more!

This year’s event will have a keynote speaker! Gregg Wittkopp, Director of the Cranbrook Center for Collections and Research. His speech is called “A Courtship with Cranbrook: Carl Milles Settles in America.” Mr. Wittkopp’s presentation tells the story of Carl Milles’ journey from Sweden to America in the late 1920s; his arrival at Cranbrook; and his first years working with George Booth, and Eliel and Loja Saarinen.

The event has a tradition to attract diverse members of the Detroit community of international business leaders and social organizations. Välkommen!
