Reindeer Rendezvous with Columbian Park Zoo 2024 at – Lafayette, IN

Reindeer Rendezvous with the Zoo is coming to Columbian Park Zoo on Saturday, December 7th and Sunday December 8th, 2024! This festive event will be held on Saturday from 9:30am-3:30pm and Sunday from 10:30am-4:30pm. Children and their families will have the opportunity to visit with Santa and meet his reindeer (Santa’s reindeer will be available for visits from 10am-2pm on Saturday and from 12pm-4pm on Sunday)! Attendees MUST ARRIVE during their ticketed time frame. Once you have entered the venue, you are welcome to stay as long as you like to enjoy all of the fun activities!

Attendees will enjoy a free cookie (while supplies last), holiday craft station, a presentation of animal artifacts by our very own elves of the Zoo Education Department, as well as have an opportunity to take a photo with the big man himself! Santa’s sleigh will also be available for photos. At our letter-writing station, children can write a letter for Santa to take back to the North Pole. The Columbian Park Polar Express train will be running, weather permitting (the Columbian Park Express train is unable to run during rain or snow events, or during extremely low temperatures – in the event the train is not operational, a Holiday Hayride will be available to enjoy -weather permitting).  Hot chocolate and other festive treats and gifts will be available for purchase at the event. 

Columbian Park Zoo is dedicated to providing children and families with an opportunity to celebrate the holidays in a safe and fun environment. Reindeer Rendezvous will be BURSTING with decorations, music, photo stops, as well as fun educational opportunities.   

Ticket and Entry Rules (PLEASE READ)
1. Tickets are only good for the time slot that you select. All attendees (including children 2 years and under) must present a ticket for entry into the event and should arrive during their scheduled ticket time.
2. Adults and children ages 3 and over are $8 each online.
3. Kids 2 years old and under are FREE for this event! Please see the “free ticket option” when purchasing tickets on this site to help us track capacity and to allow your little elf entry into the event!
4. Refunds are not available.  
5. Tickets may be available at the gate for $10 each unless capacity limits have been met.
Reindeer Rendezvous with the Zoo fundraising proceeds are utilized by the Lafayette Parks Foundation to fund future capital improvements and education programs at the Columbian Park Zoo.
