Tamika “Georgia Me” Harper is an internationally known Poet and Spoken Word icon. The soulful artist and humanitarian was born in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. She attended the highly esteemed, historically black Booker T. Washington High School. The proud “Ghetto Belle” and decorated verbal powerhouse is known for starring in Russell Simmons’ Tony Award Winning, “Def Poetry Jam on Broadway” and appearing in the box-office favorite, “Madea Goes To Jail”. Her captivating wordplay has the power to stir the soul and ignite the imagination as she brings a unique blend of raw emotion, social consciousness, and poetic finesse to the stage.
