Greys Of El Dorado Picnic

Join us for a fun-filled day at the Greys Of El Dorado Picnic! Get ready for a fantastic gathering at LBPOA PARK 7390 East Carson Street, Long Beach, CA, USA (map posted below). (EVENT IS NOT AT EL DORADO PARK!)

What to know before coming to the picnic:

This year we have a big change- There will be a separate off leash area in the park this year. It’s fully fenced in and is about an Acre of plying space! It will have typical dog park rules plus greyhounds will be required to wear muzzles. We will have a 45 min schedule so all types of dogs (according to energy level, size or breed will have a chance in the off leash area) We are inviting all types of Sighthounds this year. If you are a family with a sighthound and have another dog that is not a sighthound they are now invited to come along!

If you are not in the off leash area your dog must have a leash on at all times muzzles not required in leashed area.

The park is 100% private and enclosed.

This event is open to all greyhounds and other sighthounds if you have a non-sighthound dog in the family they are now welcome to come.

X-pens are encourge

Dogs must be current on vaccinations, flea and tick control etc.

What will take place:

This event will have a picnic style lunch turkey and cheese or vegan sandwich with chips and salad with homemade desserts. IF VEGAN PLEASE SELECT YES AT CHECK OUT

We will enjoy music by the Chimera Band and socializing while the dogs play and run free, off leash.

Bring your own lawn chair and blankets and adult beverages .

We will have a couple vendors.

Cancellation Policy:

Sales are final. Registration proceeds go entirely toward the cost of the park rental and picnic expenses only.

No credits, rebookings or date exchanges can be given for cancellations or for no-shows.

Registration is transferable ONLY with prior notice and approval by event coordinator (Vicky Coleman).

Other Safety items:

Entrance to the event is at your own risk.

You are responsible for your dog’s safety.

You are expected to clean up after your dog.

Do not permit your dog to dig in any part of the park.
