Don’t miss this upcoming 2024 Local Event in Everglades City, FL. Happening on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Everglades Rod & Gun Club. Doors open at 12:00 PM.

MUSIC FESTIVAL to benefit “Save the Bank of Everglades Building” campaign. Well-known local musicians donating their talents.

The Bank of Everglades Building dates from 1927 and is being restored by the Everglades Society for Historic Preservation. Proceeds from this Festival will be used to renovate the old building.

The event is being held on the lawn overlooking the Barron River at the historic Rod & Gun Club in Everglades City.

TICKETS are $50 for a reserved seat in front of the stage or $20 for general admission (bring your own chair or blanket to sit on the lawn).

There will also be an AUCTION of donated artwork and gift coupons for local amenities (tours, restaurants).

The Everglades Society for Historic Preservation is renovating the original Bank of Everglades Building which was completed in 1927. It was the first bank in Collier County and operated until 1962. After that, the building was used as a boarding house and bed & breakfast. It has been generously donated to ESHP and the Society now faces the daunting task of restoring it to its former dignity. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a landmark in this rural city.
