From mild to wild, TolHouse Members bring their best recipes to the table in a contest where flavor, spice, and creativity collide.

Get ready to bring the heat at The Great TolHouse Chili Challenge! This exclusive contest invites our Members to show off their chili-crafting skills and compete for the ultimate bragging rights. Whether you’re a fan of spicy, savory, or something in between, all flavors are welcome as TolHouse Members battle it out for a chance to win the grand prize trophy.

TolHouse Membership required to participate in the contest, but all ticket-holders are judges.

Not competing? No problem! While the public is invited to join in the fun and enjoy unlimited tastings, only Members will have the exclusive honor of voting for the best chili in the competition. #FORTHEVIBRANT

The Great TolHouse Chili Challenge – Contest Rules:

  1. Chili Quantity: Each contestant must prepare a minimum of 2 gallons of chili to ensure enough for tasting by both Members and the public.
  2. Homemade Only: All chili entries must be homemade. No pre-packaged, canned, or restaurant-bought chili is allowed.
  3. Member Participation: Only active, good-standing TolHouse Members are eligible to compete. Non-Members may not participate as contestants.
  4. Chili Style: All types of chili are welcome—whether it’s spicy, sweet, vegetarian, or with meat, bring your best! No restrictions on ingredients or style, but all entries must be chili.
  5. Serving: Contestants are responsible for providing their own serving utensils and containers for chili distribution. TolHouse will provide small tasting cups for guests.
  6. Voting: All ticket-holders will have the power to vote for the winning chili, regardless of Membership status. Voting will be based on taste, creativity, and presentation.
  7. Set-Up and Timing: Contestants must arrive at least 1 hour before the event starts to set up their chili stations. The contest will begin at the specified event start time.
  8. Cleanliness: Contestants must maintain cleanliness at their station throughout the event. TolHouse will provide access to sanitation supplies.
  9. Grand Prize: The winning chili will be awarded the Grand Prize Trophy and all-important bragging rights!
