Directed by Mike Cunliffe and Jesse Byron, “Duck Hunter Shoots Angel” is darkly comedic play by Mitch Albom that explores themes of faith, fame, and the quest for redemption. The story is set in a small Southern town and centers around two hapless duck hunters, who, after a chance encounter with a mysterious woman they believe to be an angel, accidentally shoot her.

The play unfolds as the hunters, Dan and Bubba, become the subject of intense media scrutiny and local gossip. As the town’s attention turns to their strange story, it becomes clear that the hunters are far from the only ones with secrets and struggles. The mysterious woman, who has been labeled as an angel by the townsfolk, causes a stir that forces everyone involved to confront their own beliefs and actions.
