Join us for the next installment of Live From The Den, featuring CT’s own ‘The Adventures of Thaddeus Black’.

Thaddeus Black is a soul, rock, and funk group from Connecticut with a concentration on SOUL. They started out as session musicians contributing on different artists’ albums, shows, and tours together. From there, they decided to form a band to bring a masterful sound of rock, funk, and soul. The band is made up of Perchell Jackson’s powerful and distinct vocals, Douglas Wilson’s innovative and expressive guitar style, Lawrence V. White’s solid and smooth bass lines, and Chuck Peterson’s slinky and precise grooves. That combination creates a unique and unmatched sound of their own. ​

We have worked with Corey Glover from Living Colour, as well as Wayne Cobham – who is the brother of jazz drummer legend Billy Cobham. Both Corey and Wayne played on our first album. We have also played at Daryl’s House Club a few years back, and we also played the Big E in MA this past October 2023.
