Don’t miss this upcoming 2024 Local Event in Bloomfield, CT. Happening on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at STUDIO 860. Doors open at 6:00 PM.

A 2-day dance event to raise money for “Keep A Child Alive,” including a dance battle with guest judge Kida the Great and a workshop.

Day 1: Saturday 10.19.24 – Blacklight all-styles dance battle. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Judges include Kida the Great and two additional TBA. $20 to attend as a spectator only. $30 to attend as a competitor and battle. All attendees are encouraged to wear white, neon, or even face/body paint to stand out. (Some free glow items will be available on a 1st come 1st serve basis.) Preliminary round will include 50 competitors and 16 will move on to battle rounds. 1st place prize is at least $500 and 2nd place prize is at least $250.

Day 2: Sunday 10.20.24 – Dance workshop taught by Kida the Great. Class starts at 1:00 pm and is 90 minutes. Spots are limited. $30 per person.

The October Benefit donates 100% of proceeds to Keep A Child Alive. No refunds will be issued unless the event is cancelled.

The dance battle will include 50 spots in the preliminary round. All participants will be required to sign a waiver. Once the 50 spots are filled, a waitlist will be available in the case that there are no shows the day of.

The October Benefit is not responsible for unexpected changes in the availability of judges/instructors. Spots for competition and class are limited and are first come first serve.

Alcohol will be served only to those 21+ with proper State or Federal identification. Alcoholic drinks will not be allowed outside of the designated 21+ area and no outside food/drink is allowed. Drink responsibly.
