Join us for another night of jazz! For the first time we are doing a double bill show with Thirdspace Quartet & Alex Sjobeck + Sam Tru.

Thirdspace Quartet is a brand new ensemble in Boise, and is as committed to contributing to its community as it is to exploring the vast landscape of string quartet repertoire. Through world-class concert experiences, distinctive collaboration, and unique educational programs, TSQ catalyzes the emerging chamber music scene in the Treasure Valley and beyond.

Sam Tru & Alex Sjobeck

Jazz pianist Alex Sjobeck and jazz adjacent vocal powerhouse Sam Tru have extensive experience performing together and playing at some of the world’s top jazz clubs and performance halls. Alex Sjobeck is also an award winning jazz composer who brings fresh, innovative works to the classic instrumentation of a jazz duo. Sam Tru is known for her original works as well which landed her in Downbeat magazine after the release of her album Cycle which made it to #1 on Amazon’s Top 100 New Releases. Alex Sjobeck began her career in New York City while Sam Tru began hers on the west coast creating a unique variety of influence in the music they produce together.
