2024 Greater Houston Environmental Summit – presented by CEC – Houston, TX

Event Description:

We’re celebrating our 11th annual Environmental Summit with a full day dedicated to fostering dialogue, education, and collaboration on solutions to the health impacts of environmental degradation in the Houston/Gulf Coast region.

Generously cohosted with the University of Houston-Downtown’s Center for Urban Agriculture and Sustainability, and in partnership with the City of Houston’s Green Building Resource Center, this is an event you do not want to miss.

What to Expect:

• Inspiring Keynote Speakers: Hear from leading environmental advocates and experts.
• Panel Discussions: Featuring experts from diverse environmental fields.
• Breakout Charrettes: Interactive sessions on various environmental topics.
• Networking Opportunities: Connect with like-minded individuals, nonprofit organizations, governmental bodies, and activists.
• Exhibition Hall: Explore booths from local environmental organizations and businesses.
• Texas Native Plant Sale: Plants grown entirely with the community’s collected compost and repurposed materials by Zero Waste Houston.
• Networking Lunch: Meet and mingle with other attendees.
• Surprise Gift Bag Drawing: Attendees who take public transit, ride their bike, or carpool will be entered into a drawing for a Surprise Gift Bag! (The METRORail Red Line takes you directly to UHD.)
